The phone rings. dataPos pops up a screen telling you who is calling. Its an existing customer, so you can instantly call up their history, enabling you to answer the phone in a more professional and personal manner. The customer requires a quotation, after the quotation is raised and the stocks and deliveries are checked for the product, you give them a unique reference number to identify their quote.

9.10 am

Customers start coming into the shop. Most of them require products that are on you shelves, so their sales are handled quickly and efficiently with the EPoS system.

Deliveries start to arrive. The items are booked into the system, updating your stock levels, and printing tickets to let you know which items are required for existing jobs and customers.

2.00 pm

A customer calls in to collect an existing repair. You check the system using the repairs number or customer details and know that the repair is completed and take the payment from the customer.

3.00 pm

Your customer who required the quote calls back. DataPos tells you who is calling, and you can see straight away that they have an outstanding quote. They tell you that they require the item, so you check the diary for a delivery date, take the credit card payment and schedule the item for delivery.

3.30 pm

A quick look at the auto ticket module tells us that supplier updates we did earlier requires some tickets to be printed. You save a list of each type. Then using Ticket+ you produce new price tickets for all the updated items.

4.00 pm

Better order some stock. DataPos produces a report letting you know what items are required to complete current jobs, and to bring items with low stock backup to acceptable levels.

5.00 pm

The shop doors are shut. You produce a till report to enable you to balance your till.
