Caution
Please note. This release requires a data upgrade. If you are unsure if the data upgrade has been carried out, do not install this release untill you have checked with your system administrator!
To install the data upgrade, after you have installed this release, run dataupgrade.exe on your data.(located in your datapos folder)

 New Encodex imports!
datapos is now compatable with the Encodex data feeds.
These data feeds ensure that you always have the most upto date informaition about any product in your stock list.
This includes all sales points and images.

 New Email sender
The datapos email feature called from any contact screen has been replaced with a new email sender.
The new sender looks and works like most email clients making it easy to use. You can also attach documents to your emails and even send fully formatted html emails

Text Editor
To compliment the new email sender, we have also included a new text editor.
This editor makes it a doddle to format your emails into a rich and colourful document
|
Mail Shot!
The old mailmerge function on the customer screen has been replaced with the new Mail Shot feature.
Called from menu item 4.3 this powerful new feature allows you to send both email and printed Mail Shots to your customers
The customer selection for Mail Shot makes the whole process a doddle, allowing you to select customers by purchases, non purchases and filters.
Then you can combine and subtract lists for a truly flexable customer selection

 CatCode Screen
This screen has now been updated so that sales points are now stored against the stockcode and not the stockcat.
But don`t panic about updating your data. If you already have sales points stored, the latest data upgrade will convert them for you.
Sales Points have also been upgraded to 16 sales point for ticket+
